Mozhdeh Matin, led by the designer Mozhdeh Matin, works with artisans and sustainable Peruvian textiles. Baby alpaca and prima cotton, two of Peru’s native materials, are some of the principle textiles used in her designs. The ideas for the colorful and delicate tailoring come from the designer’s trips to Peruvian communities and personal experiences. Mozhdeh aims to create consciousness about sustainable fashion and to highlight the intricate work of the native artisans.
